About the role
We have an immediate opportunity for a Civil Engineer with interests in site civil forensic investigation, litigation support, and risk loss consulting. This individual will execute site civil investigations of existing buildings/developments and design remedial repairs for deficient conditions. The investigations include failure cause and origin analysis, life cycle cost and feasibility analyses, risk loss insurance, claims response, and litigation support. The candidate will coordinate with project managers on interdisciplinary efforts and support marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- On-site inspections and investigations including surveying and documenting observations, photographing, and sketching
- Researching the historic background, technical issues, and code issues
- Organizes field data to facilitate analysis and problem-solving
- Complete site civil analysis and repair rehabilitation design
Requirements
- Degree (Master’s preferred) in civil engineering
- Field experience with diverse infrastructure types preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally
