Responsibilities
- Manage and lead technical work.
- Perform all aspects of design (grading, drainage, water, sewer, hydrology, erosion control, etc.) with an emphasis on technical and project delivery excellence.
- Prepare technical reports, concept designs, construction specifications, construction drawings, bidding documents, and permit applications for approvals.
- Participate in value engineering and prepare construction cost estimates.
- Participate in both private and public sector clients/projects.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Participate in client management, business development, and proposal preparation.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of industry practice and demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of all phases of engineering document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail; time management skills.
- Direct experience in client management and business development is an asset.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, Hydrology / Hydraulic design software will be an asset.
- Experience and working knowledge in BlueBeam Revu, preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, business development activities, etc.
- Travel for multiple days (overnight travel) on occasion for meetings and to support project teams in other offices may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive civil engineering design experience.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D, Hydrology / Hydraulic design software.
- Experience with BlueBeam Revu.

Pay
$90,900.00 - $131,800.00 Annually
