Responsibilities

  • Project Management - Identify appropriate resources to achieve project objectives. Manage contract terms, track and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Project Delivery - Technical delivery of work including writing memos, reports, plans/specifications, permit applications, client presentations, and other engineering documents. Participate in various phases of wastewater conveyance infrastructure projects including planning, design development, permitting, and execution.
  • Business Development - Lead efforts for proposal preparation and business development. Participate in client business development and planning conversations.
  • Administrative - Opportunities to serve as a direct supervisor to junior staff, if desired.

Requirements

  • Proven technical skills applicable to wastewater conveyance system modeling, flow meter data collection, and sewer system master planning.
  • Experience with field work, inspections, and construction related to wastewater flow monitoring and wastewater conveyance infrastructure.
  • Experience with client management and business development.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Experience with writing technical reports and presenting findings to clients in person or in virtual formats.
  • Ability to travel as required for project and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or ability to achieve within one year of hire.

Skills

  • Technical skills applicable to wastewater conveyance system modeling, flow meter data collection, and sewer system master planning.
  • Field work, inspections, and construction experience related to wastewater flow monitoring and conveyance infrastructure.
  • Client management and business development experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
