Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking professional Civil Engineers to join our established team and contribute to the design, planning, and oversight of horizontal infrastructure projects such as roads, parking areas, culverts, stormwater management, and water and sewage systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and feasibility studies, site investigations, and prepare applications, calculations, reports, and studies to ensure compliance with local, county, and state regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other professionals, and review subdivision and land development plans for adherence to standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, including material and equipment procurement.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time, oversee construction-site investigations, soil testing, and cost estimation.
• Design plans using software in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines, and assess risks related to labor and materials for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor project progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate findings to clients and authorities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience across all levels, with strong technical, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of government regulations, permitting, and environmental standards.
• Proficiency in design software and risk management practices.
