Civil Engineer

About the role

This position involves collaborating with project managers to establish schedules, design requirements, and deliverables, and contributing to residential and commercial site development projects from concept through permitting.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering plans and site layouts based on project information, calculations, and research.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support land development and site design projects from concept through permitting.
• Assist with stormwater management and drainage design.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis to support project development.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.
• Participate in permitting and land-use approval processes as required.
• Contribute to residential and commercial site development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• 0-5 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience in site design, land development, and land-use permitting preferred.
• Residential development experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn stormwater management and design.
