Civil Engineer
What's the Job?
Support and manage a variety of water infrastructure projects, including planning, design, permitting, inspection, and construction administration for water treatment, distribution, and storage systems. Contribute to sanitary sewer collection and conveyance projects, including planning, design, and permitting for pump stations, collection, conveyance, and treatment facilities. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater planning, and drainage design, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Engage with regulatory agencies, interpret regulations, and prepare feasibility studies, drawings, specifications, and reports.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil, Environmental, or related discipline).
- 4+ years of professional experience in engineering, with a focus on design projects.
- PE license in Delaware and/or Maryland is required.
- Experience with land development and infrastructure improvement projects, especially public works infrastructure and wet utilities, is a plus.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, OpenFlows StormCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, ArcGIS, and HEC-RAS, along with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
