Civil Engineer
About the role
The Civil Engineer will support capital projects associated with Transmission Lines and Substations within the Program Management Services Division. The role is located at our Client's Rochester, NY offices. The division provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs, with project teams offering a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their knowledge through classes in the electrical industry. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual, have a positive attitude, flexibility, and possess leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Grading and drainage design and review
- Foundations design and review
- Driveway and drive area design and review
- Overall site plan and truck/trailer access, specific review of mobile access plans
- Civil engineering lead and advisor for all projects and the capital program
Requirements
- 2-5 years of engineering experience in the functional area
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
- PE requested
