Civil Engineer

Job Details

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive hydraulic and hydrologic studies to inform the planning and design of construction projects.
• Utilizing autocad/civil3d to design and visualize complex civil infrastructure and construction projects.
• Designing and implementing effective storm drainage and stormwater management systems to mitigate environmental impact and comply with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams of architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Keeping abreast of industry advancements and integrating new and effective engineering solutions into our practices.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on autocad/civil3d, hydraulic and hydrologic studies, and storm drainage and stormwater engineering.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using autocad/civil3d for the design and visualization of civil infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic systems, as well as storm drainage and stormwater management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
