Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Municipal Engineer to serve as a technical leader, mentor developing staff, and help drive future expansion opportunities within the Illinois market.
The firm offers diverse project exposure across roadway, utility, drainage, transportation, and community infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- 10–15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley CONNECT, or similar design platforms
- Knowledge of stormwater management, utility coordination, roadway design, and permitting
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to future office and team growth
Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Benefits
Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year
