CIVIL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction, renovation, and maintenance projects relating to the College's infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure that all projects are executed in compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and required quality standards.
• Cook up with contractors, consultants, suppliers, relevant authorities, and government agencies.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities and submit regular progress and technical reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• A BSc. in Engineering (Civil) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification accredited by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), or a relevant qualification from an overseas university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Should have obtained or be eligible for Associate Membership of IESL. Corporate Membership will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, building construction, infrastructure development, or related projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of Sinhala and Tamil will be an added advantage.
