Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and design civil engineering projects in accordance with company requirements and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare engineering calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings).
- Assist in construction projects to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
- Cookordination with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, completions, production, water transfer, and local governing bodies.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
- Monitor environmental, safety, and sustainability aspects of engineering projects.
- Review and approve project deliverables and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a related field (Master’s preferred) or extensive experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education/Experience
- Experience with oil and gas well pad construction and infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.).
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal engineering codes and standards.
- Familiarity with GIS, BIM, or project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
