Civil Engineer

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our Design Engineering Team. This position can work remotely or be based out of any of our U.S. offices.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders on civil design
• Interface with local jurisdictions regarding permitting and design plans
• Provide design support on Industrial Infrastructure and Transit and Freight Rail projects
• Utilize engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, simulation models) to prepare analyses and documents
• Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) plans, reports, specifications, and technical designs for civil/site and railroad projects
• Conduct site inspections and attend jurisdictional or client meetings; travel up to 15% within North America

Qualifications & Experience

• EIT license required
• Natural or acquired U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
