About the role

As a Civil Designer / CAD Technician, you’ll work on live projects—from national retailers to critical public works—alongside experienced, licensed engineers and surveyors. This on-site, full-time role in Metairie / New Orleans, LA, emphasizes real-world impact, collaboration, and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed, innovative civil site designs, including complex grading and drainage plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other advanced design software to draft and model project layouts with precision.
• Collaborate seamlessly with project engineers, surveyors, and external partners to ensure smooth execution from concept through construction.
• Prepare and meticulously review construction documents to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with high-quality standards.
• Adapt and tailor designs to meet the unique and complex requirements of diverse clientele.

Requirements

• Proven experience in civil site design and drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard CAD software.
• Practical understanding of land development principles, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• A keen eye for accuracy and a drive to deliver high-quality, efficient projects.
