What You'll Do Develop civil site plans for land development projects from concept through constructionPrepare grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and erosion-control designs under the direction of a licensed engineerProduce and coordinate construction documents, plan sets, profiles, details, and exhibitsBuild and manage Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, pipe networks, and corridorsIncorporate redlines and respond to comments from project teams, clients, municipalities, and reviewing agenciesCoordinate civil plans with architecture, structural engineering, MEP, surveying, and other disciplinesSupport design standards, CAD organization, quality control, and permittingProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters Requirements Typically, 7+ years of civil drafting and design experience, preferably in site and land developmentAdvanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and construction-document productionAbility to independently develop and coordinate civil plan sets with oversight from a licensed engineerStrong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsAssociate degree or technical certification in drafting, civil technology, or a related field preferred but not required What We Offer We are targeting a base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, but is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.
