Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking a CAD Operator to join their Land Development team based in Orange. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Land Development projects
- Design and produce sets of plans; implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards
- Maintain drawing database
- Perform routine analysis to check accuracy of data
- Familiarize oneself with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (an associates degree is preferred)
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products is preferred
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and a desire to learn
- Able to work independently and with a team
Pay
Salary Range: $73,000 to $85,000
