About the role
The Civil Design Project Manager will lead complex civil engineering projects from concept through design, construction, and post-construction phases. This position requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of detailed project plans and schedules
- Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to cost targets
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members to define project scope and objectives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Lead team meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Prepare and present project reports and presentations to clients and internal teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering
- Experience managing large-scale civil engineering projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with sustainable and green building practices
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
Skills
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Technical proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with contract negotiation and procurement processes

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
