About the role

The Civil Design Project Manager will lead complex civil engineering projects from concept through design, construction, and post-construction phases. This position requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of detailed project plans and schedules
  • Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to cost targets
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members to define project scope and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards
  • Lead team meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
  • Prepare and present project reports and presentations to clients and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry partners and suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering
  • Experience managing large-scale civil engineering projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience with sustainable and green building practices
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum

Skills

  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Technical proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with contract negotiation and procurement processes

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
