Civil Design Engineer (Land Development) | Bethlehem, PA | Bohler

About the role

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors to design the sites that shape the growing communities of Lehigh Valley. Every day, you’ll gain new skills, tackle real challenges, and see your work come to life.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 2+ years of site design experience across residential and/or commercial or industrial projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and curiosity to learn new tools and methods
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Skills

• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Basic engineering design knowledge
