Civil Design Engineer II

About the role

Siegfried is seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification, with 2+ years of relevant civil design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, technical staff, and management are required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design and documentation
• Prepare civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for projects including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site development
• Review project requirements, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with clients, technical staff, and management to ensure project success
• Maintain organized project documentation and adhere to deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred
• 2+ years of relevant civil design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, technical staff, and management
• Experience in the design and production of infrastructure construction documents
• Identifies technical issues and brings them to the attention of management
