Key Responsibilities
- Develop civil, structural, and environmental engineering designs for high-voltage substation projects.
- Prepare construction drawings, engineering calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in field reviews and site visits at client facilities to gather information and verify design requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance to define project objectives and deliver solutions.
- Perform structural analysis and design for substation structures, foundations, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, engineering practices, and company requirements.
- Support project planning, design reviews, and construction activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 1+ year of structural/civil engineering experience.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including:
- ASCE 7
- California Building Code (CBC)
- ACI 318
- AISC 360
- Experience with SAP2000 or equivalent structural analysis software.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
