Civil Design Engineer
Position Overview
C&S Companies is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to be based in our Rochester or Buffalo office. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our civil engineering practice.
Responsibilities
- Field data collection, analysis, and development of engineering plans using CAD software and 3D models
- Preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and cost estimates
- Work on multi-disciplinary teams to perform site/civil infrastructure design and construction observation for private development, higher education, K-12 schools municipal, and healthcare clients
Requirements
- 0-3 years’ experience
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification (or intent to pursue in near future)
Skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desired Education & Experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D
- DEC Certified Stormwater Training & Certification Program “Qualified Inspector”
Benefits
Estimated Compensation Range And Benefits: $78,000 - $85,000/year*
Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
