Civil Construction - Pipe Layer

About the role

J+M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor specializing in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, with a focus on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, and storm drainage throughout Central and Southwest Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Install Water mains – Ductile & PVC
• Install Gravity Sewer
• Install Storm Drainage
• Install Conduits & Duct Banks

Requirements

• Must have previous construction experience
• Valid driver's license is required
• Must have own transportation to job sites
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must work safely
• Must be able to pass a drug test / ground screening
• Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
• Must pass drug test/screening
• Must possess a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
• Will need to provide three-character references
