Civil Construction - Pipe Layer

About the role

J+M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor specializing in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, including Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects through demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, and storm drainage throughout Central and Southwest Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Install Water mains – Ductile & PVC
• Install Gravity Sewer
• Install Storm Drainage
• Install Conduits & Duct Banks

Requirements

• Previous construction experience
• Valid driver's license
• Own transportation to job sites
• Able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
• Able to read a tape measure
• Willing to work safely
• Able to pass a drug test / ground screening
• Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
• Able to provide three character references
• Background check required

Qualifications

Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
