Civil Construction Inspector 1
About the role
We are seeking a Civil Construction Inspector I to join our dynamic Field Services team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our clients' projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines.
- Maintain accurate records and inspections of construction projects, including monitoring and recording progress.
- Coordinate field materials sampling and testing, such as concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing.
- Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Technical school or Associate degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in construction inspection.
- Some KYTC certifications or the ability to obtain them.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
