Civil Construction General Laborer

About the role

J+M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor specializing in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, including Utilities and Excavation projects in central and southwest Virginia. We are currently seeking a Pipe Layer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Install Water mains – Ductile & PVC
• Install Gravity Sewer
• Install Storm Drainage
• Install Conduits & Duct Banks

Requirements

• Must have previous construction experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have own transportation to job sites
• Must be able to lift 60lbs, squat, and climb ladders
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must work safely
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Willing to work overtime on Saturdays
• Must pass drug test/screening
• Must possess a positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
• Will need to provide three-character references
