About the role
J+M Infrastructure is seeking a Pipe Layer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing Water mains (Ductile & PVC), Gravity Sewer, Storm Drainage, Conduits, and Duct Banks.
Responsibilities
- Install Water mains (Ductile & PVC), Gravity Sewer, Storm Drainage, Conduits, and Duct Banks.
- Perform demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, storm drainage, throughout central and southwest Virginia.
- Work safely and adhere to company safety protocols.
- Lift up to 60 lbs, squat, and climb ladders.
- Read a tape measure.
- Work overtime on Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
- Previous construction experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Own transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs, squat, and climb ladders.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Willingness to work safely.
- Willingness to work overtime on Saturdays.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Provide three character references.
- Pass a background check.
