Civil/Commercial Litigation Solicitor with at least 4 years PAE

About You

• At least 4 years post-admission experience (PAE) in a Civil/Commercial Litigation focused role.
• Strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• A desire to continue learning and developing professionally and personally.

Responsibilities

• Case planning, development, and management.
• Legal research, fact gathering, investigation, and information retrieval.
• Drafting pleadings, document responses, and discoveries of documents.
• Document management and contact/conferencing with clients.
• Analysing and summarising documents, fact-checking.
• Preparing for and appearing in court or tribunals.
• General and court document preparation (including the use of precedents) and amendments.
• Proficiency in document management software.
• Monitoring emails and bring-up systems.
• General administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and searches.
• Preparation and collation of briefs to barristers as required.
• Conferencing with and instructing barristers in court.
• Managing confidential information.
• Court filing in person and electronically as directed.
• Effecting service of court documents.

Pay

An attractive salary of $120,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a performance-based bonus structure.
