Civil CAD Technician

About the Role

Delta 3 Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated person for a full-time position as a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter in the Civil/Municipal discipline. The Civil/Municipal CAD Drafter supports the design and preparation of plans for site development, grading, utilities, roadways, and other civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Drafting construction documents and exhibits in Civil 3D
• Creating alignments, profiles, and cross sections
• Assisting with quantity takeoffs and plan revisions
• Coordinating closely with engineers and survey teams to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Civil 3D
• Solid understanding of civil engineering design principles
• Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of local, state and national regulations
• Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to ensure compliance
• Team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required
• Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to our company's insurance provider

Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
