Civil CAD Technician

Responsibilities

• Supports the design and preparation of plans for site development, grading, utilities, roadways, and other civil infrastructure projects.
• Drafts construction documents and exhibits in Civil 3D.
• Creates alignments, profiles, and cross sections.
• Affixes quantity takeoffs and plan revisions.
• Closes coordination with engineers and survey teams to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with modeling concepts, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Understanding of local, state and national regulations.
• Ability to interpret national and local codes and standards to ensure compliance.
• Team-oriented and capable of working with other staff members.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to our company’s insurance provider.
