About the role
B.H. Inc. is seeking a full-time Civil and Excavation Senior Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for earthwork and utility projects, conduct takeoffs and pricing for earthwork, grading, and underground utility tasks, evaluate project plans and specifications, visit project sites to understand site conditions and limitations, and collaborate with team members to build comprehensive estimates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for earthwork and utility projects
- Conduct takeoffs and pricing for earthwork, grading, and underground utility tasks
- Evaluate project plans and specifications
- Visit project sites to understand site conditions and limitations
- Collaborate with team members to build comprehensive estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience
- 5-10 years of experience as an estimator for earthwork, grading, or underground projects
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners
- Experience with estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, plan and specification review
- Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek, and Estimate(B2W)

Benefits
The Civil and Excavation Senior Estimator position offers a salary of $140,000-$198,000 annually, paid weekly. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a match, and paid time off (PTO).
