CityVet Veterinarian Pre-Clinical Program

Program Overview

• Eligibility: 1st and 2nd -year DVM students at AVMA-accredited veterinary schools
• Duraton: Schedule flexibility to accommodate university rotation requirements
• Locations: CityVet clinics available across multiple states
• Housing: Housing is not provided; however, CityVet can share accommodation recommendations from prior externs
• International students: Eligible if enrolled at an AVMA-accredited university and authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

What to Expect

• Work alongside experienced veterinary teams
• Receive exposure to small animal general practice medicine and surgery
• Observe client communication and case management
• Collaborate with technicians and support staff
• Gain exposure to clinic operations and team leadership
• Benefit from mentorship from practicing veterinarians
