City Engineer

The City of St Clair Shores is now accepting applications for City Engineer.

About the role

Under the general direction of the Community Development Director, the City Engineer assists in the implementation of the City of St Clair Shores' Master Plan by performing necessary tasks to assure construction projects are in compliance with approved plans and specifications. Experience in floodplain management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the City of St Clair Shores' Master Plan
• Perform tasks to ensure construction projects comply with approved plans and specifications
• Experience in floodplain management is a plus

Requirements

• Experience in engineering
• Knowledge of city planning and development
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
