About the Role
As a Café and Wine Bar Associate, you will prepare and serve coffee, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. You will operate the cash register, handle transactions, and assist the CITY Café team during events like "Wine & Design," showroom grand openings, and other key events. Your role ensures the success of the CITY Café at CITY HOME.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cookies, other menu items, and beverages throughout the day.
- Maximize café sales by providing world-class service, suggestive selling, and upselling.
- Meet or exceed pre-determined monthly sales goals.
- Prospect and find new ways to increase business.
- Adhere to assigned Standard Work and Role Responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the CITY Café by completing the daily checklist according to ServSafe standards.
- Order and maintain proper inventory of beverages and glassware using the "first in, first out" process.
- Focus on quality control of product temperature and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years of food service experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (32 hours/week) availability.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License.
- ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements
- Lifting in excess of 20 lbs.
- Set-up, bending, reaching, and cleaning in the café.
- Prolonged standing and/or walking.
Technology Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
Pay
$15 - $18.50 per hour.
