About the role

Join Heritage House, a premier community for active individuals aged 55 and older in Atlantic, Iowa. As a Food & Beverage Team Member (café worker), you will directly and positively impact the health and wellbeing of residents through dynamic, customer-focused service in a modern, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the café each morning, ensuring a clean and inviting space.
• Prepare coffee machines, stock pastries, and check inventory for supplies.
• Review the menu and daily specials.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and handle payments accurately.
• Prepare high-quality meals, snacks, and beverages according to customer requests.
• Maintain café cleanliness by clearing tables, washing dishes, and restocking supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address concerns professionally.
• Clean and close down equipment at the end of the day.
• Restock and prepare for the next day’s operations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
