Starting salary: $21/hour and up.

As a Citizens Teller, you make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in our lobbies.
• Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs to complete simple transactions.
• Create amazing experiences for customers by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their financial needs.
• Connect customers to our Bankers for the next step in achieving their financial goals.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits, effectively responding to questions and concerns.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state, and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to develop long-term customer relationships.
• Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Ability to motivate others through collaboration.
• Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $23.25–$27.13 per hour. Actual pay is based on factors including budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Schedule

30 hours per week. Work schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
