About the role

As a Citizens Teller you’ll greet customers in our lobbies, demonstrate our mobile app and ATMs for simple transactions, and look for opportunities to provide personalized advice that helps customers reach their financial goals. You’ll connect customers to our Bankers for next steps, answer product and benefit questions, and follow all financial policies and procedures including proper cash handling and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and deliver a welcoming branch experience.
  • Demonstrate and assist with mobile app and ATM transactions.
  • Identify customer needs and provide personalized advice and solutions.
  • Connect customers to Bankers for deeper product discussions and next steps.
  • Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits.
  • Follow all financial policies, cash handling standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, including recommending and referring products and services.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to ask questions and identify needs to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving and solution-providing mindset.
  • Customer-centric focus to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfort using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
  • Completion of a video interview assessment within 7 days of receiving the link.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Ability to motivate others through collaboration with teammates, business partners, and specialists.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.

Pay

Starting salary of $21 per hour and up.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
