Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of professional experience
- Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test
- Experience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
- Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
- Current Top Secret Clearance
Job Description
You will be a Circuit Card Designer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team develops cutting edge circuit boards, interface cards and supporting hardware for our customer that must meet extreme size, weight, power and performance requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work within the Electrical Engineering team and cross functional teams to effectively address integration and interface challenges
- Define, refine, and document system, performance, and interface requirements
- Support development of multiple circuit card assemblies
- Manage bill of materials, part sourcing, and build-up activities
- Electrical connector part selection and cable routing layouts
- Help evaluate/troubleshoot and provide technical direction for failure investigations
- Be self-motivating, team-oriented, and capable of making informed decisions in a timely fashion with minimal direction
- Able to take project ownership from conception to implementation
