Circuit Design Engineer IV, Avionics, Secret Clearance

Location: Littleton, CO. This position does not support teleworking; you will be expected to work on-site full-time.

About the role

As a Circuit Design Engineer, you will work on the development of a sophisticated, state-of-the-art avionics product in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts.
• Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
• Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world-class avionics systems.
• Resolve test anomalies, troubleshoot, and generate, review, and present Product Certification.
• Support system-level testing.
• Support the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electronics design, with a focus on CCA design and development.
• Experience as a technical lead or responsible engineer.
• Experience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle.
• Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Missile design experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship.

Desired Skills

• Experience in Missile or Space Avionics circuit design.
• Full program/product life-cycle experience.
• Experience in ASIC/FPGA development.
• Flight and/or Motor Controls experience.
• Experience with design for manufacture and test.
• Experience with PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools.
• Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
• Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $135,700 – $251,900. The salary offered considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market/location/business considerations.
