Circuit Card Assembly - Manufacturing Engineer

We specialize in the commercial manufacturing of aircraft and engine controls/systems, including Circuit Card Assemblies and Unit Integration, and are expanding to integrate US defense into our production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop all required manufacturing processes and procedures for complex aerospace engines, flight, and airframe electronic Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs).
• Team with colleagues to achieve design, quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Provide technical support and feedback on product manufacturability for Circuit Card Assemblies.
• Establish manufacturing methods to improve process flow.
• Support investigations to determine root cause of defects.
• Ensure readiness for new programs transitioning from Development into full Production.
• Review and approve changes to production methods due to design changes.
• Resolve engineering configuration and hardware issues.
• Analyze data to identify changes in process methods and product design.
• Identify technical solutions to address quality issues.
• Support failure analysis through collaboration with colleagues.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement through Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Drive KPI improvements revolving around Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Utilization, and execution of customer demand.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing work to meet commitments.
• Understand cost impact of process challenges and provide root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with experience in electronic manufacturing and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical requirements.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent experience in manufacturing, industrial, systems, engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Lean Manufacturing Certificate.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Analysis including SPC, CpK, MSA, DOE.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Full understanding of electronics manufacturing processes.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $79,370 – $134,929. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
