Responsibilities
- Prepare all samples that arrive at the lab.
- Measure, cut, and prepare samples for testing.
- Maintain compliance within quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cutting equipment.
- Collaborate with other lab personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Ability to pass a half-mask respirator test and physical examination.
- Ability to wear a respirator while working in the sample prep room.
- Experience using power tools such as rotary tools, table saws, router, tile saws, and drills.
- Receiving and logging in CIPP samples that are shipped in.
- Participating in the data entry and cutting of samples into specimens of specific size and shape for testing.
- Sample and specimen dimensioning using a microscope, calipers, and micrometers.
- Communicate sample cutting progress, issues, and results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
