About the Role

The CIP team performs proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and production areas within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Regular worksite attendance
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Processes
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, production areas, packaging equipment, warehouse, and food ingredient receiving and shipping areas according to protocols and specifications to meet food safety requirements
  • Inspect, promote, and maintain adherence to food safety cleanliness in handling product, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards
  • Ensure all chemical containers are correctly labeled
  • Understand chemical or non-chemical pest control systems
  • Maintain neat, accurate records of all work performed daily
  • Keep a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Follow all required work safe practices, wear all required PPE in designated areas, practice confined space safety, and handle chemicals safely
  • Report any food safety, quality, or safety-related issues to management

Requirements

  • Organized with a high level of attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Willingness to learn, train, and expand skillset
  • Basic computer skills
  • Actively participate in all training offered within the company

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl in tight spaces
  • Must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs
