About the role

The Analyst, Letter of Credit Product Specialist within Corporate & Investment Banking supports the Global Transaction Banking Large Corporates Business Unit for the onboarding, booking, and processing of products through the entire life cycle. They serve as first-line support to clients, agent banks, and internal clients to ensure funding is completed, transfers are made on time, and all operational purposes are met.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and ensures accuracy for various management reports and designs new reports to meet changing or ad-hoc requirements.
  • Ensures product requirements are met and manages communication with relevant areas to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Identifies issues and implements necessary actions to resolve them.
  • Acts as first-line support to clients, banks, and internal clients to ensure requests are completed.
  • Uses discretion to resolve errors and disputes.
  • Coordinates with Middle Office and Operations to ensure all deals are correctly booked and independently identifies appropriate remedies where necessary.
  • Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness and determines appropriate remedial action when needed.
  • Provides guidance to deal booking teams following each deal’s terms and conditions.
  • Ensures client folders are maintained and updated with credit, legal, or any other required documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, or a related field (Required).
  • 1+ years of Product Development, Business Development, or related experience (Required).
  • Experience with Letter-of-Credit products preferred.
  • Knowledge of trade products is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize a heavy workload.
  • Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates the ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism at all levels of team members and management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the product development life cycle.

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 USD annually. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
