Job Duties
- Lead the site’s continuous improvement initiatives designed to eliminate non-value-added activities while improving operational excellence.
- Ensure existing processes maintain a high level of performance while continuously reviewing and refining those processes.
- Establish a culture of operational excellence throughout all plant operations with emphasis on sustainable development.
- Manage CI projects while utilizing problem-solving and Continuous Improvement methods such as LEAN, TPM, Six Sigma, and TQM.
- Lead, supervise, and train cross-functional project teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement P3 (Tenneco Operating System) to drive key performance indicators.
- Manage project budgets and costs related to operational initiatives.
- Drive mixed model value stream implementation plans for CI projects, including resources, timeline, critical paths, etc.
- Participate in operational continuous improvement reviews with local and regional management.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum Experience
- Five (5) years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Supplier Quality Analyst, Assistance Supplier Quality Analyst, or Continuous Improvement Engineer.
