Chorale

About the Role

As the largest ministry team on campus, Chorale offers students an opportunity to serve the Lord through singing. This large vocal choir participates in events like the community Christmas concert, Spring Music Festival, and the Spring Break Chorale Tour.

Joining the choir involves a simple, private audition and is available to the entire student body. The 10-day tour over Spring Break provides a wonderful opportunity to minister in churches and schools while creating fun memories.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly rehearsals (3 hours per week)
• Perform in chapels, Missions Conference, Christmas Concert, Mount Olive Prison Ministry, Spring Break Tour, Spring Music Festival, Spring Bible Conference, and Commencement

Requirements

• Open to all students, any major
• Simple, private audition required
• Commitment to participate in the 10-day Spring Break Tour (tour limited to 35 students)

Details

Participants receive 1 hour of academic credit each semester. Choir size is upwards of 50 students.
