Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service
• Manage all cash handling and credit card processing procedures using company best practices
• Assemble various proprietary retail items per recipe guidelines
• Maintain adequate supply of all retail product on the sales floor and in back stock
• Ensure all product is appropriately priced and signed per company guidelines
• Maintain sales floor and products to company standards of cleanliness, arrangement, and display
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all products, pricing, and company history
• Utilize product knowledge to satisfy guest inquiries and create up-sell opportunities
• Gift-wrap items as needed per company guidelines and standards
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of table tops, serve ware, floors, and trash receptacles
• Keep fountain and condiment supplies stocked and in good condition
• Maintain the stockroom in a clean and orderly fashion
• Clean windows and mirrors when smudged or soiled
• Maintain guest and employee washing facilities in good working order and sanitary condition
• Properly set up, maintain, and break down fountain area
• Replenish toppings and fountain items throughout the day, minimizing food waste
• Maintain proper levels of all required ice cream flavors
• Keep knowledge current of all fountain products and their preparation
• Work as a "Topper" or "Scooper" as needed
• Perform "Semi-Table Service" functions to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain all candy-making equipment and supplies in good working order, and know all recipes

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• High school diploma preferred
• Previous retail experience is desirable
• High energy, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work all shifts, including nights and weekends

Skills

• Basic math computation skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Ability to work with a diverse team and meet adversity with professionalism
• Effective time management
• Ability to maintain a smile, pleasant demeanor, and provide superior guest service
• Ability to operate a dishwashing machine

Pay

Starting pay: $20.00/hour + tips. Holiday pay: 1.5x pay for worked holidays.

Schedule

Store hours: Sunday–Thursday 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, Friday–Saturday 10:00 AM–11:00 PM. Shifts may start up to 2 hours before or after store hours for prep and cleaning.
