Responsibilities
- Chocolate Production: Expertly temper chocolate and create a variety of chocolate products, including our favorite dipped items, bars, and seasonal specialties.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality throughout the production process, ensuring that all chocolates meet our company's specifications for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment, in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Presentation: Pay careful attention to the presentation of finished chocolates, packaging them per the recipe manual specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the team, providing support and assistance as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in a professional kitchen or a decorating role in a bakery facility preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Education and Training
- Certification in culinary arts, pastry arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Additional training or certification in chocolate-making techniques is a plus.
