About the role
We're looking for a passionate software engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of our platform. You'll work on challenging problems at scale, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and have a direct impact on our product direction.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Qualifications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Contributions to open-source projects or side projects demonstrating technical curiosity

- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, distributed team environment

Pay
$140,000 – $180,000 per year, based on experience and location
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday with flexible core hours (10am–3pm ET)
