CHMC - Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental health illnesses.
• Provide pharmacological management, psycho-education, and crisis intervention.
• Work alongside an established team of psychiatrists and clinicians to review health assessments and treatment plans.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to ensure the long-term success of patient treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited program.
• Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Psychiatry or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Inpatient Experience: Comfortable working within an inpatient unit and providing hospital-wide consultations.
