Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No on-call rotations

About the role
This position combines mechanical, electrical, and HVAC expertise to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards in a comfortable, climate-controlled facility with a well-equipped, professional test lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.
- Start up and test air-cooled and water-cooled chillers in the Test Lab.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, and system recharging in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Monitor and perform run logs to ensure proper operation and efficiency of chillers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment status.
- Operate tools and machinery safely, including lifts and hoists when required.
- Keep work areas organized and adhere to 5-S and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical or HVAC certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing water-cooled and air-cooled chillers.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work safely at heights.
- Knowledge of EPA refrigerant handling guidelines and safety compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
