Chiller TechnicianLocation: Phoenix, AZ Pay: $40.00 - $56.00 per HourPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Chiller Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial chiller systems throughout the Phoenix market. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of critical cooling systems while providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise.The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with centrifugal, screw, scroll, and air-cooled chiller systems in commercial, healthcare, industrial, and mission-critical environments. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for complex HVAC equipment and play a key role in maintaining vital building operations for customers.Our client is a well-established commercial mechanical contractor with decades of experience providing HVAC, plumbing, and process piping solutions across healthcare, education, manufacturing, mission-critical, hospitality, aviation, and public works markets. The company is known for its commitment to customer service, technical excellence, employee development, and quality execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial chiller systemsPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, and performance testing on water-cooled and air-cooled chillersService centrifugal, screw, scroll, and reciprocating chiller equipmentInspect and maintain associated systems including cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, controls, and variable frequency drivesAnalyze equipment performance data and identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reliabilityTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-related issuesPerform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, charging, and system startupsRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, sequence of operations, and manufacturer documentationQualifications5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience3+ years of hands-on chiller service, maintenance, and repair experienceStrong knowledge of centrifugal, screw, scroll, and air-cooled chiller systemsExperience troubleshooting electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, and controls systemsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manualsKnowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, and associated equipmentStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent customer service and communication skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPreferred5+ years of commercial HVAC or chiller service experienceManufacturer training or certifications from Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, or similar OEMsExperience supporting healthcare, manufacturing, data center, mission-critical, or industrial facilitiesStrong understanding of building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controlsExperience with centrifugal chiller overhauls and major repairsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with vibration analysis, oil analysis, and advanced chiller diagnosticsCandidates that complete skills assessments and screening questions will move to the front of the application process.BenefitsFull Benefits Included Email Your Resume In Word To Ryan.Hanrahan@CyberCoders.com Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
