Chilled Warehouse FLT driver - Night Shift

Warehouse Operative / FLT Reach Driver role based in Willenhall WV13 2JP, working fixed nights Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 20:00 to 06:00.

About the role

You will play a crucial role in accurate and efficient replenishment, ferrying, and bulk storage control within the depot. When FLT activities are not required, you will undertake normal Warehouse Operative activities such as assembling and/or loading customers' orders.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and systematic replenishment of picking fixtures
• Efficient use of bulk storage space
• Accurate labelling / re-labelling of all bulk storage pallets
• Adhering to stock rotational procedures
• Transfer of bulk stock from the goods inwards area into correct picking fixture / bulk storage area
• Accurate recording of all stock movements onto the bulk storage systems (SMS) or onto supplementary manual bulk storage documents
• Accurate assembly of customers' orders
• Picking and loading goods onto cages in a safe and manageable manner
• Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
• Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
• The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
• Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation, and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
• Preparation of vehicles prior to loading

Requirements

• In-date Reach truck licence
• Minimum of 12 months experience as an FLT Driver
• Warehousing and distribution experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold (chilled) environment

Pay

£14.51 per standard hour + £1.56 per hour night shift allowance + £0.63 per hour FLT allowance.
